Manual Therapy

Manual therapy horse (chiro therapy)

What does manual therapy mean?

The manual therapy on the horse includes those treatments carried-out by the therapist with his hands, i.e.

Chiropractic, osteopathy, physiotherapy, mobilization and stretching.

The manual therapy encompasses special handling techniques which serve the purpose of locating movement disorders in the area of the spinal column and/or the extremity joints. In accordance with the anatomy of the affected joint the therapist selects the necessary handling method and technique to mobilize the joint and release the movement restrictions.

The manual therapy is particularly effective and gentle on joints of the limbs and spinal column, head joints, temporomandibular joints, joints around the torso and in the pelvic area.
